This Mid-Century Modern fish is made from exotic woods including Wenge, Padauk and Canary Wood.
This gorgeous fish is made primarily from Black Limba and Padauk exotic woods, featuring a bright orange glass eye.
The type on this guy is from a page taken out of an old Japanese rice paper book, decoupaged onto the fish. His lower half is, fittingly, made from a process called “Sho Sugi Ban,” a treatment with fire was used to waterproof wood.
This guy has a lot going on, his fins are 100+ year old Japanese rice paper, his eye is from a CD case.
This fish is made from Purple Heart and… Zebra Wood, I think. His fins are a foreign currency, his eye is from a CD case.
